Oscar Checo arrived in the United States in 2012 with a suitcase and a dream. He had always been fascinated by the art of barbering and men’s grooming, but he never had the opportunity to formally train in his homeland in the Dominican Republic.

Oscar Checo has been cutting hair for a long time. And in all those years, he’s worked hard to become the best barber he can be. After finishing school, he apprenticed under some real experts in the field. He watched them closely, picking up all their little techniques and tricks. Over time, he started combining what he learned with his own personal style. Now he’s got a smooth, confident approach that’s all his own.
